1Gbits alternative: a crypto-paid VPS without a 36-month prepayment

1Gbits takes Bitcoin, USDT, Ethereum and BNB and has VPS in more than 20 locations. Its advertised prices assume 36 months paid upfront; at the regular price, 2 cores and 4 GB cost $24.99 a month. dedisrv charges $15 for the same CPU and RAM, month by month, but with a smaller disk. Checked in November 2026.

Short answer

  • Paying month by month: dedisrv costs 50–60% of 1Gbits' regular rates: the same as its 36-month price for 2 cores, and less for 4 and 8 cores.
  • Large disks: 1Gbits, with 100–350 GB. Neither caps monthly traffic; 1Gbits applies a fair-use policy.
  • USDT: both take it. Monero and USDC on Base or Polygon: dedisrv. Bitcoin and BNB: 1Gbits.

Payment

1Gbits lists cards and PayPal, plus Bitcoin, USDT, Ethereum, BNB and other cryptocurrencies.

dedisrv takes USDT and USDC on Base, Ethereum and Polygon, plus ETH, POL and Monero, sent straight to the address on the invoice. Monthly billing is the default; a longer period is optional and discounted. See paying with crypto.
