VPSBG alternative: a crypto-paid VPS in the EU when you don't pay in Bitcoin

VPSBG from Bulgaria has accepted Bitcoin since 2014, also over Lightning, with no third-party gateway and no ID checks, and runs on AMD EPYC with SEV-SNP. Its cloud VPS cost about three to four times more than dedisrv for the same CPU and RAM. dedisrv takes stablecoins and Monero rather than Bitcoin. Checked in November 2026.

Short answer

  • You pay in Bitcoin or over Lightning: VPSBG. dedisrv doesn't take BTC.
  • You pay in USDT, USDC or Monero: dedisrv, and it is much cheaper: 2 vCPU and 4 GB cost $15 a month against €39 at VPSBG.
  • Confidential computing (AMD SEV-SNP) and large NVMe disks: VPSBG.

Plans and prices

vCPU / RAM dedisrv, monthly VPSBG, monthly VPSBG, 1-year cycle
2 vCPU / 2 GB $10, 15 GB, unlimited traffic €30, 50 GB, 3 TB €22.50
2 vCPU / 4 GB $15, 20 GB, unlimited traffic €39, 60 GB, 5 TB €29.25
4 vCPU / 8 GB $22, 25 GB, unlimited traffic €78, 80 GB, 10 TB €58.50
8 vCPU / 12 GB $32, 30 GB, unlimited traffic not in the cloud VPS line —

VPSBG prices are from its pricing page; the 25% lower price applies to a one-year billing cycle. All disks are NVMe.

Payment and privacy

VPSBG takes Bitcoin on-chain and through the Lightning Network, with no third-party crypto gateway, and says no KYC is required. Its FAQ says Tor exit nodes are allowed and that DMCA is not relevant in Bulgaria, though Bulgarian copyright law applies.

dedisrv takes USDT and USDC on Base, Ethereum and Polygon, plus ETH, POL and Monero, also directly, without a processor. Registration takes an email address and a 6-digit code; no documents are requested. See paying with crypto.

Where VPSBG is better

  • Bitcoin and Lightning payments.
  • AMD SEV-SNP memory encryption and Measured Boot images.
  • About three times more disk.
  • Tor exit nodes allowed; dedicated-CPU and memory-optimized VDS.

Where dedisrv is better

  • About three to four times cheaper for the same CPU and RAM on monthly billing, and under half of VPSBG's yearly rates.
  • No traffic limit; VPSBG includes 3 to 10 TB a month on these plans.
  • USDT, USDC and Monero.
  • An 8 vCPU / 12 GB plan for $32.
  • Support in English, Ukrainian and Russian, a public service agreement and an invoice for every order.

Which one to choose

Choose VPSBG if you pay in Bitcoin or need confidential computing. Choose dedisrv if you pay in stablecoins or Monero and want the most CPU and RAM for the money in the EU, with your project fitting in 15–30 GB of NVMe.
